Login to solution manager system and execute t-code SMSY from here you will see a top button called "SELECT OBJECT" click this button and you will get a screen below, click on the generate key

To Generate Installation key in Solution Manager
To Generate Installation key in Solution Manager 7.1 EHP1 or Solution Manager 7.0
Login to solution manager system and execute t-code SMSY from here you will see a top button called "SELECT OBJECT" click this button and you will get a screen below, click on the generate key

Try to change the
message
server name if its a new server and click the generate key button, after that if you have a save button, not necessary to
save it if its a temporary server such as standby or staging server.
