SAP Note Not Available - Very common issue

Use of SAP notes SNOTE, one to view instructions on the note and one to apply a SAP notes-provided fix.

1. In the first place, you should be aware that there are at least two ways to view SAP notes.

By entering your SID, you can access SAP OSS.

SAP note can be found by searching on Google. Assuming it's a hot sap note, I have no doubt that some blogger will screen shot the note.

2.As soon as you apply the fix provided in the note, please try it again.

As soon as you log in to the SAP OSS development system, verify that the OSS1 screen configuration is correct for your region.

As a matter of fact, you can configure OSS1 in any of the following systems: DEV (development), QAS (quality assurance), REG (registration), and PRD (production).

If you can't find the relevant notes in SAP TPO or EWA reports, then it's possible that the note is new and you'll need to update your SAP TPO or EWA reports.

1. Drop a OSS message requesting for the note ( if available via SNOTE through DEV)

2. OR system that are intended are not relevant to the note therefore SAP note does not show in the repository ( this sometimes happens) 

3. Login to OSS website to get it.

4. Unless its an internal use only meant for SAP internal consultant or certifiied consultant.
