Symptom
- "MEMORY_NO_MORE_PAGING" dump occurs
Environment
- SAP platform independent
- This can occurs with any OS/DB combination
Reproducing the Issue
- To produce this issue a high load must be present on the system which results in the paging memory becoming exhausted.
- This can also be reproduced by filling the filesystem at usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGSXX\data to ensure there is no more free space.
Cause
The error "MEMORY_NO_MORE_PAGING" means the SAP paging file as
dictated by parameter rdisp\PG_MAXFS is almost full and should be
increased.
If the filesystem where the Pagefile is located is full and cannot grow to accomodate the increasing Paging file size this dump will also appear. This file is located at the directory usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGSXX\data

Resolution
- Please verify the SAP paging usage with the transaction ST02 (Buffer Statistics).
- At the bottom of the screen, you will see the "page area" information.
- If the "max usage" value reaches the sum of "in memory" and "on disk" during the transaction, you have to increase the parameter rdisp/PG_MAXFS.
- Before you increase the parameter, please check that you have enough disk space on the local SAP kernel drive (share=saploc) on each application server.
