Actions in the SAP Solution Manager System

Start System Landscape Maintenance (transaction SMSY) in your Solution Manager System.(Minimum requirement: SAP Solution Manager 3.1 Support Package 20 of the ST component, or 3.2 Support Package 4 of the ST component, or SAP Solution Manager 7.0 with Support Package 9 for products of SAP Business Suite 2005)
To create your SAP system in the system landscape, proceed as follows:
- Select the landscape component "Systems", and select "Create New System" from the context menu.
- Enter the system ID in the following dialog box as the system.
- Select the relevant product (e.g SAP ECC) and the corresponding product version(ECC 5.0) from the input help. Choose "Save".
- Complete the system data as far as possible. You can find further documentation about this in the online help.
- Save your entries.
"Landscape Components" (Release 3.1), or "System Landscape" (Release 3.2/7.0) and select the entry "Other Object".
- Set the "System" indicator and from the input help,
select the system for which you want to perform an installation or an
upgrade. If you created the system in the SAP Solution Manager in the
previous step, select this system.
- Select "Generate Installation/Upgrade Key".
- Enter the necessary data, and select "Generate Key". The system displays the key.
