Other Terms
Reason and Prerequisites
Never manually set the rdisp/myname parameter in a profile.
This is a dynamic parameter that is comprised as follows:
rdisp/myname => $(SAPLOCALHOST)_$(SAPSYSTEMNAME)_$$
Since the application server identifies against the message server in this way, the message server does not allow another application server to log on with the same 'name'.
Since rdisp/myname is derived from SAPLOCALHOST, an incorrectly set SAPLOCALHOST parameter can also be responsible for the problems (if SAPLOCALHOST is set identically for several instances). Generally SAPLOCALHOST should not be explicitly set.
